What you say regarding being saved and surrendering is true. But there is so much more in Christ. There is life in the Spirit. There is a place in God where everything you think, everything you do, everything you say pleases God and all you want to do is wake up everyday communing with Him. I encourage you to go there. Ask God to reveal the truth of who He is, all of who He is, to you by His Spirit. It is written in the Word that His Spirit will lead you into all truth. It is up to us to have pure hands and a pure heart before the Lord, and for us to ask Him for the fullness of His Spirit. I understand what you are saying. I know many who are there. I myself have been there in the past...I asked for the Lord to come into my life, but I was not immediately changed. We must be changed. We must put on the mind of Christ so that we can do His will always, the result being bringing glory to His name. The days that we have here in this time of rest, this time of peace, are very few. There is a storm coming...there is no doubt about this. The Spirit of God is speaking, warning, about this continually. But who will hear it? Who will completely die to their flesh, to their own desires, and let the perfect will of God be done in their life? I pray that you are one of the few that can say in faith "Send me, Lord."
