B-Line would kind of be a cool name for a record… But thats not why I am writing with this title.. The reason is because one of the biggest take aways from my time in Chicago has been something that came from an old pastor named Charles Spurgeon. He said , ” Make a B- Line to Jesus.” This means take everything back to what it’s about.. right.. and what is about for us who profess Christ as Lord.. Well it’s Jesus obviously.. So with this simple but refreshing perspective I am going to look at ministry a lot different but probably the way I should have seen it all along… probably how I should have looked at my life all along. Every song I pick will point back to Jesus, every passage I read I will find Jesus in it, and every time I lead my small group I will point it back to Jesus because without Him who are we? What is our based on faith?
I think a lot of times we can talk about the things of God but not really be talking about Him?
